The camping experience here is intimate and communal, designed to foster a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A dedicated, exclusive-use campsite is available, making it perfect for single groups of friends or a large family gathering. The heart of the camp is a fantastic communal lapa area, which features a braai, an open-plan kitchen, and easy access to the ablution facilities. This wonderful setup provides a central hub for the group to cook, eat, and socialize together.

Multiple electrical points are available within the camp to ensure your essential needs are met. The entire campsite is conveniently situated right next to the inviting swimming pool, offering the perfect way to cool off on a warm day. Days at ESCAPE are best spent exploring the stunning natural landscape, listening to the call of the wild, and simply enjoying the profound peace of this special valley retreat.

A Truly Restorative Bush Escape

Escape to Nature is exactly what the name promises and more. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the quiet rhythm of bush life, surrounded by nature, birdsong, and an incredible variety of wildlife. The setting is wonderfully peaceful, offering a rare sense of calm that allows you to properly switch off from the outside world.

We stayed in the Bush Bunker, which was beautifully thought through and exceptionally well equipped. Everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay was provided, making it easy to simply settle in and enjoy the surroundings without distraction. The lodge blends seamlessly into the natural environment while still offering comfort and practicality.

One of the highlights was the abundance of birdlife and animals. Whether during the day or in the early evening, there was always something to see and hear. The nighttime bush atmosphere was especially calming. Sitting quietly, listening to the sounds of nature after dark, was deeply restorative and unforgettable.

The hosts deserve special mention. They were extremely friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, striking the perfect balance between being available when needed and allowing complete privacy. Their care and attention clearly reflect a passion for creating a meaningful and comfortable guest experience.

Escape to Nature is ideal for anyone seeking tranquillity, connection with nature, and a true bush experience without sacrificing comfort. We left feeling rested, grounded, and already planning our return.

Very beautiful farm with a huge swimming pool and a few hiking trails. Perfect for a family gathering and fun weekend with friends. The cottages are lovely and clean. Will definitely visit again. Dog friendly as well.

Not to the required standard. Camp on gravel base, small width and pretty much on top of each other. Luckily there we no other campers, and I can understand why. It is a pity, because the ablution facilities are great and clean.

We checked out 3 other campsites in PE until we found Escape to Nature. It was scorching hot and the pool was INCREDIBLE to swim in. The hosts went over and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, in a way that felt like family. Child-friendly, we even brought our little dog to camp with us, who was welcomed with doggy cookies. Beautiful view over the landscape, a gorgeous lapa to make a fire in and play cards in the evening. This will absolutely be our go-to any time we're passing through. A true gem. A huge thank you from us!
