Imhoff Caravan Park

Well looked after campsite. It feels like a place which has hosted many guests over the years. Everything is efficient, sturdy, works well. There’s bath tubs in the communal ablution block. How luxurious. Awesome! The sites are pretty close to each other so there’s not a great deal of privacy. However there’s a no noise rule and people keeping to it, which makes staying at Imhoff peaceful and calm. Thank you for having us.

This is a perfect place to go camping, perhaps as a test, before more rigorous overlanding.

The grouds are well kept, the ablution blocks are thoroughly cleaned daily, etc...

There are systems in place for security. And the gentleman at the gate are always kind and genuine.

Ann has been more than fair with our family of 6. We are happy with her management. Ann was also kind to let us take a look at the campsite so we could plan a site to stay. We did so to see where it may be ideal for shade. It paid off to do so.

The beach is a short walk, from the front gate. Maybe 5 minutes walk, if walking at a slow pace. The views at the beach are lovely.

Sadly this caravan park is looking quite shabby.
The stands are good and sheltered from the Cape winds,the lady at reception was very friendly.
Good access to the beach.
But...the ablutions and scullery need a complete overhaul,very tatty and the usual notices are not even laminated, actually not neat or placed properly.

Homey. It is what you make of it. Had a wonderful home cooked meal. Warm and welcoming very clean bathrooms and common areas. Can be a little depressing on a cloudy day but the thought of a brighter day makes it better. Very close to the ocean.

What a lovely location
The park is wondeful....just the ablutions need a major make over, however the space is clean & water presure is good.
