Springbok Caravan Park

Springbok Caravan Park holds a vital and strategic position for any traveller exploring South Africa’s vast Northern Cape. Located right in the heart of Springbok, the capital of Namaqualand, this park serves as a crucial and welcoming stopover for those on the long N7 journey between Cape Town and Namibia. Being just an hour from the Vioolsdrift border post, it is the perfect place to rest and restock before heading north.

The park is set within the town’s unique and rugged landscape, with many of the campsites nestled amongst the iconic granite koppies (rocky outcrops) that dot the area. This gives the park a distinct character that feels deeply connected to its environment. The sites are practical and well-equipped with electrical points, and they are serviced by clean ablution facilities, providing all the essential comforts for road-weary travellers. On a hot day, the sparkling swimming pool provides a welcome and essential oasis.

Beyond being a convenient stopover, the park transforms into a bustling hub during the world-famous Namaqualand flower season. It becomes the ideal basecamp from which to launch daily excursions into the surrounding countryside to witness the incredible floral spectacle. Its in-town location also means you are within easy walking distance of local shops and restaurants, making it a convenient and reliable choice for any adventure.
