Had a wonderful and restful long weekend and enjoyed the tranquility of Thabaphaswa.

Beautiful and clean campsite.

Booking from start to finish was seamless with no issues.

Owners and team were very friendly and ensured our needs were tended to.

A daily check in to insure all is well and nothing was needed.

New bathrooms being built, very neat and has warm water.

We had a great time,but I think our doggies had an even better time.

No network,but we had no issue with that :)

Hope to be back very soon!

Our family had a wonderful experience on the farm. Loads of wildlife and opportunities for outdoor activities. It was a lovely break from the rush of life and a chance to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature and family. The sites are large and there are outdoor toilets and showers, warm water twice a day and ice and wood available for purchase on the farm. One of our new favorite pet friendly campsites.

Wonderful stay on a farm where the Staff start the donkey twice a day to ensure warm water for an interesting outdoor shower.
We stayed in the Cot-house and my Staffi enjoyed running around freely.
Beautiful mountains and small dams are part of the peaceful stay on the farm where we were welcomed by Deon and his friendly staff.
It is definitely a place to relax and I am looking forward to do the hiking trails in the near future.

My friend Barbara and I were privileged to stay in the Cot House at Thabaphaswa Mountain Sanctuary from 28 to 31 December 2020. It was an amazing experience even though we had to adjust to the fact that there was no electricity. The facilities at the Cot House were adequate and we really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful to just relax in nature, listening to the sounds of birds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We recommend this place for anyone who needs a complete break from the hectic world around us.

No electricity, basically no cellphone reception - absolute bliss. Really a place to switch off from city live and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Accomodation is basic if not camping. It's a place to just be. Bonus is that dogs are welcomed. Our Rottweilers had a royal time exploring and swimming in the farm dams. Mountain Biking routes on the farm and we'll demarcated hiking trails. Low clearance vehicles may have some challenges getting to the farm, so best to check with the owner. Thanks Gideon and your team for a memorable visit. We'll be back soon.
