Description
The accommodation here is a celebration of rustic ingenuity and a deep connection to the environment. The most unique and magical option is the collection of tented tree houses, which are cleverly arranged to ensure total privacy for small groups. This is a true off-grid experience, where there is no electricity. Instead, the evenings are illuminated by the soft, romantic glow of paraffin lamps, and cooking is done over open fires or on gas, with gas-powered fridges to keep your supplies cool. Each of these private sites has its own fully equipped kitchen, toilet, and shower.
For the more traditionalist camper, the secluded camping area offers a chance to pitch your own tent under the shade of magnificent, giant indigenous trees. You can chill out under the ancient branches of majestic Baobabs, Mashatus, Jackalberries, and Knobthorns, feeling completely immersed in the wild. The entire camp offers direct access to the Mutale River, a constant source of life and a magnet for the incredible birdlife and wildlife of this legendary region.
