It's a really lovely studio apartment. Very neat and clean. It's set in a beautiful environment with vineyards and horses and chickens. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a braai area. Great grass area for morning exercise and undercover parking with full access control. It is rather suited more towards overnight stays than longer stays as there is only a small bar fridge no desk for office work and no lockable wardrobe. There are plenty of local places to visit for the tourist or New visitor to experience and explore even a bottle of local wine to sample! When you travel often as I do and you want to feel close to home this type of accommodation hits the mark. Your own space, private and secure close to amenities so after a long day you can be in a calm space to recharge for the next day. For the holidaying traveller on your way to the next destination this is perfect!

The whole town of Kakamas was a pleasant surprise as a stopover en route to Kgalagadi.
The stables is close to the main road, the only negative being a little traffic noise, with beautiful views over the vineyards down to the Orange River.
Convenient, Clean and comfortable.
Definitely makes it onto my list of preferred stops.

The Stables in Kakamas was truly a breath of fresh air. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and welcoming. We had the best rest and left feeling completely refreshed. The accommodation is comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully set up.
The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, even after hours, which really made us feel taken care of. We were well rested and could not have asked for a better stay.
This place is a 10/10 recommendation and an absolute must-see if you’re visiting Kakamas. We will definitely be back!

My stay was amazing, the host is so friendly and accommodating. The unit is extremely clean and has everything you would need. The attention throughout the unit is incredible.

Waking up to the sunrise over the vineyards with the horses at your doorstep is such an amazing experience.

Such a hidden gem and amazing value for money! Highly recommended!
