With easy access from Johannesburg and Pretoria (only 2,5 hours drive). Just off the R33 between Vaalwater and Lephalale, Matamba is an ideal weekend getaway or stop over on the way to Botswana. Tau camp has five individual campsites: Francolin, Hornbill, Drongo, Oriole and Kingfisher. All sites are 150 to 200 metres apart so are very private. Each site can accommodate either a couple or several families from the same group. Mara’s camp is our private and exclusive campsite which can only be booked and accessed by one group at a time.
