Medolino Caravan Park offers a wonderfully peaceful, park-like retreat in the popular coastal town of Port Alfred. The park is thoughtfully laid out around a small, central lake, with mature trees providing a lush, green canopy that attracts a variety of birdlife. This unique setting creates a genuine sense of tranquility, allowing you to feel removed from the hustle and bustle while still being conveniently close to all the town's attractions.

With just 32 spacious and grassed campsites, the atmosphere remains uncrowded and relaxed. Most stands benefit from ample shade, offering a cool escape from the Eastern Cape sun, and each is equipped with a power point and has water access nearby. The park is serviced by three clean and well-maintained ablution blocks, ensuring a comfortable stay for all campers.

While the park itself is a tranquil haven, it also serves as the perfect basecamp for exploring everything Port Alfred has to offer. The famous Kowie River is just a stone's throw away, providing a vast playground for boating, fishing, and paddling. The area’s beautiful swimming beaches are also within easy reach. For those who wish to bring a four-legged family member, pets may be permitted during off-peak seasons with prior management approval.

One of those old-world gems, the owners here are incredible hosts.

They have gone a long way to making guests really comfortable, the ablution blocks are all sparkling, the grounds and grass are immaculate.

In terms of helpfulness and local info, Susan went out of her way to explain some.local highlights to us.

Affordable, beautiful, clean and tranquil: pretty much all you need for your stay and a relaxing holiday.

I have loved staying at Medolino caravan park in Port Alfred while on holiday there. The park's location is excellent and it is pet friendly and safe. The ablutions are spottlessly clean and ample. There is a large scullery and fridge to use, also very clean. The park has a tranqil atmosphere with lots of bird life and beautiful surroundings. Susan, the owner of the park is friendly, helpful and kind. She takes pride in her beautiful caravan park. In addition, Susan also arranges fun events at Medolino, for campers and caravaners to join in or watch. I highly recommend Medolino. A big thank you to Susan and her team for the effort they make in ensuring that their visitors are happy, comfortable and safe.
