Eden Park Jongensfontein

A really great campsite! So much so that I wish I could keep it all for myself.

Eden Park at Jongensfontein is actually better known as a seasonal golf course just outside of town. During the high season the course is frequented by people who can't swim or fish, but for the rest of it, it offers 2 large and very peaceful campsites. Close enough to visit the beach, restaurant or go fishing, but nice and quiet to escape to.

The sites are fairly level, with lawn coverage. Shade is plentiful and provided by milkwood trees. Each stand has its own bathroom facilities and a braai place that is roofed and sheltered with shade net. The stand is bordered with a 3m hi shade net fence that provides some additional protection against wind. Electricity is available at the stand
All facilities were super clean and well maintained. Not a single cigarette but found on the stand. No papers or plastic bags blowing around. Well done!

The kitchen is not equipped with utensils, crockery or cookware. Just use your own as you would normally do at any campsite. The kitchen area is spacious, equipped with a work top and sinks. A cupboard provides storage for groceries. A number of plug points are available in the kitchen, so no problems with powering your fridge or cooker top.

The bathrooms are spacious and even people with movement impairments can easily access the facilities.

Truly a gem of a campsite, and setting up under the milkwoods brought back many childhood memories. I can recommend this campsite without any reserves.

What a gem of a place in the heart of Jongensfontein! Great camping spot about 3km away from the ocean with acres of space for extra activities. The camping grounds has a golf course aswell!

Ablution facilities is great, braai area with free-roaming sprinboks to top it all off. Not a lot of camping spaces so book quickly to avoid dissapointment. Value for money!

Eden Park Camping is a very classy place at a reasonable rate and 3km from Jongensfontein. Two campsites, far away from each other, situated in very nice areas that keep you in touch with nature. A variety of Springbok species roame the fields and regularly visit your campsite. Management is hands-on and a little query we had was sorted out in a no-time. Every campsite has on sight under roof braai, ablution, bathroom and kitchen facilities are top class. Continuous hot water, 24/7 electricity and WiFi was very nice. The tranquility of the venue is what makes this place a gem. Remember to book way in advance.

This is a very special place with two very private campsites. Each campsite has a wash up area, a separate shower and toilet and an amazing braai area. Much of the site is enclosed with shade cloth to keep the wind out. You camp under or amidst grand old Millwood trees. Wifi is also available at a small fee. It is situated just outside Jongensfontein on a farm with free roaming Springbok....and it's pet friendly!!!
