Each of the wilderness campsites is a private sanctuary, naturally carved out of the landscape and sheltered beneath a dense, ancient canopy of indigenous trees. You will set up your camp under the protective branches of giant Yellowwood, Wild Fig, Forest Nuxia, and Milkwood trees, creating an incredible sense of being enveloped by the forest. This lush environment is a haven for wildlife, and you can spend your days listening for the iconic call of the Knysna Loerie or scanning the skies for the majestic White-Crested Eagle.

The experience here is intentionally rustic, designed to minimize impact and maximize your connection to nature. We stayed on the Duiker camp,such a beautiful spot with the waterstream running right past. The water was crystal clear and we enjoyed daily swims with the little fish. Bird life is beautiful and Arno was very kind and helpful. We took the hike up to the waterfall and ended up carrying our 2 little dogs most of the way,but was worth it when we finally reached the top. Had no signal,but was very welcomed and not a bother for us. Will definetely love to return again. If you are looking for a proper reset,this is the place!

We stayed in Rooikat campsite because we have a rooftop tent, at the end of the road , nestled in a beautiful pocket of natural forest, next to a bubbling stream that kept us company all night, so restful. The Birdlife was stunning, a lovely accompaniment to start the day. The Ona and a half hour walk , up the unspoiled kloof, to the crystal clear pools and the sparkling waterfall was so worth it!
I understand that improvements are on the way , in terms of hot water and lights in the ablutions and WiFi .
But for us this was such a great escape, back to nature, and...without the irritation of hearing your neighbouring campers every move !

One of the most beautiful camping spots I've been in. So cool that it's on the streams, as I love water. Love the wild camping experience, just you and nature. As if you walked into the bush and found a beautiful spot to camp by some streams. Arno has just found it for you, and makes it easy to go setup and slot right in. Amazing walk up the kloof. Go early and give yourself time for the hike. Thank you Arno, it was as Awesome 🙏

Surrounded by stunning birdlife and with the most beautiful, fresh water right on your doorstep, you'll feel completely at one with nature. The rustic living is a real treat, and you'll feel like you're living off the land in the best possible way. The hiking trail is an adventure in itself, with breathtaking views and an amazing sense of freedom. And the best part? You don't even need a 4 x 4 to get here! This is the perfect spot for anyone looking to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life and bask in the beauty of the great outdoors. I highly recommend it!
