Today, the four of us stopped at Fish River Diner for a quick bite to eat and were pleasantly surprised by the incredible variety on the menu. There is truly something for everyone.

We ordered toast with ham and cheese, an omelet, and the beef curry – and every dish was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care.

Thea is an incredibly sweet and welcoming host who made us feel right at home. This place is a real hidden gem and definitely worth stopping by if you’re passing through the area.

Highly recommended!

These people have wonderful food and a small but cozy caravan park. We stayed here in July of 2016 and were almost the only people there. Highway noise was minimal and the setting and scenery were great. Thanks to our host and especially our hostess for a special overnight stay and quick tour of the area the next morning.

We had lunch, breakfast and morning tea at the dinner on three separate days and found their food to be very reasonably priced, the served portions both generous and delicious.

The outside of the building could use some maintenance but dont let that distract you. Inside its neat, clean and comfortable.

Professional, helpful and friendly service - thank you Tia, we enjoyed visiting your cute little dinner.

Oh yes, the "oom", he is not exactly friendly, but dont let that distract you either, Tia's scones, with butter and jam, compensate adequately.

This is one place we will definitely visit again.
