Duiwekloof Lodge

Lovely unit with everything you need. The road is terrible towards the resort. We were welcomed by 2 friendly sheep dogs that followed us everywhere. It was very hot in January and a pity that the pool were dirty. Otherwise a lovely place with the most beautiful stargazing at night. It feels like you can pick every star.

We camped for one night on our way to Addo elephant park late Dec.
It was a very pleasant stay, nice site spaced out. Lovely surroundings, with a nice cool pool to dip in. Very peaceful, neat, clean and relaxing. We enjoyed it very much

Really weird layout. No water at my campsite and no bin at the kitchen area so there is a lot of walking around to find water, throw trash away. Also the camping site was uneven with dog litter on the grass. Wonderful friendly staff but wifi unreliable. Setting is beautiful and perfectly quiet and peaceful.

Unfortunately did not stay here, although the units looked great from outside.
We did visit to hike the various trails the farm had to offer and it was well worth of.

From steep climbs with great views from above the hill tops of Baviaanskloof to the river beds between the cliff it's was fantastic.

Service received was superb and even managed to buy some fresh honey comb.

Trails were relatively well marked and worn in.

This was an oasis of peace in the beautiful nature during our 4x4 trip thru the amazing Baviaanskloof. We were on our honeymoon, and we had the honeymoon suite. Highly recommended! We enjoyed the personal and friendly hospitality, and the two sister dogs makes the stay super special, they walked with us when we had our morning hike!
