Our Chalets are located inside the game camp. You will receive a warm and heartly welcome atmosphere in the Kalahari. We are willing to share our piece of heaven on earth in a malaria-free environment. Pieter and Tania started Oppiknoppi together and put a team effort into the décor to fit into nature , together with their two children. It is fun to receive other Families here too. Game drives can also be booked where more is learned about the environment. For the bird watchers here are more than 100 different species. Oppiknoppi believes in the protection of rare species and is a true wildlife and eco tourism farm. Animals like the martial eagle, kori bustard (largest flying bird in SA) ,variety of owls, the aardvark and a large variety of smaller cats (serval, groukat) as well as the rattle and many more are still here. We are part of the Getaway's popular Kalahari routes (the Hotazel Route) and are also regularly used as launches of major tour groups like Touch the Wild, African Adventures and Land Rover Gauteng.
