Situated in the Sekhukhune district, Groblersdal offers 3 long-stay campsites. Sekhukhune is a district located in the central region of the Limpopo province. The landscape is characterised by rugged mountain ranges, including the prominent Leolo Mountains, which descend into dry, rolling savanna plains. The regional economy is primarily driven by significant platinum and chrome mining operations, functioning alongside commercial and subsistence agriculture. The environment features diverse botanical zones, river networks, and established heritage sites that reflect the rich history of the Bapedi kingdom. These geographic attributes provide accessible environments for hiking, bird watching, and exploring the unique geological formations and cultural history of this interior region.

The province of Limpopo features a warm, subtropical bushveld landscape that provides a reliable environment for established caravan parks and tent campsites. Situated in the northernmost part of the country, the region is characterized by expansive savannas, large baobab trees, and the winding Limpopo River along its border. The terrain rises into the forested peaks of the Soutpansberg mountains, offering shaded camping stands and cooler temperatures. Across the central plains, campers frequently visit well-equipped resorts built around natural hot springs. The local climate brings hot summers with late afternoon thunderstorms and mild, dry winters that favor extended caravan tours. The province contains a strong network of rural campsites situated within private wildlife reserves, allowing visitors to enjoy nature walks and game viewing directly from their setups.
