Description
Bergland Estate offers a breathtaking retreat nestled at the foot of the Olifantsberg Mountain, just a short distance from Worcester. Situated on a working wine and stone fruit farm, this destination is a nature lover's dream, surrounded by indigenous fynbos, lush vineyards, and towering trees that provide a sense of deep tranquility. It is a place where families and groups can unwind and experience the slower pace of farm life while remaining only about an hour’s drive from the bustle of Cape Town.

The main camping area features a generous number of stands, each meticulously maintained with lush green grass. These sites vary in size to accommodate everything from compact tent setups to large off-road caravans. Every stand is thoughtfully equipped with its own electricity and water point, and a loose-standing braai is provided for those quintessential outdoor meals. The estate also features a communal swimming pool tucked under the shade of mature trees, offering a refreshing escape during the warm summer days. For those who prefer a little extra comfort, the property also offers a luxury camping option in a separate, more secluded section.

The facilities are modern and well-appointed, featuring a central ablution block with separate sections for men and women. Campers have access to warm water showers and even a bath in the female bathroom, along with a dedicated scullery area for washing dishes. A small on-site tuck shop provides basic essentials, and firewood and ice are available for purchase. While the estate is not pet-friendly due to the roaming farm animals and resident dogs, it remains a welcoming and grounded sanctuary for anyone looking to recharge in the heart of the Western Cape mountains.
