The Baths

A great place to spend a few days. The facilities are great with a (very) hot pool and a smaller cold one. The scenery from the pools are breathtaking.
Great to have a restaurant with reasonable prices on the premises. There is also a shop with the necessities.
The chalet we stayed on (Sugarbush) has its own jacuzzi and the water was hit when we arrived, so could be used immediately.
The best part is that you are hidden away from other chalets, which feels like you are all alone in the bush.
It has a awesome view down the valley.

My Girlfriend and I recently stayed at The Baths in the Willem Danster chalet and overall had a really enjoyable experience.

The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and feels safe and secure. The pools were well maintained, clean, and a great place to relax. Our chalet also had a private jacuzzi, which was another highlight of the trip. It was clean, comfortable, and everything worked perfectly, making it the ideal place to unwind after a day at the pools. The spa was definitely the biggest highlight with it being very calming, relaxing, professionally run, and surprisingly well priced. I would highly recommend booking a treatment while you're there.

The Willem Danster chalet was comfortable and clean, but the TV and seating area are positioned quite awkwardly. If you're planning on relaxing with a movie after a long day at the pools, I'd suggest bringing a laptop or projector, as the current setup isn't ideal for watching TV comfortably.

The biggest disappointment was the restaurant. The food was very overpriced for what was served. It reminded us of school tuck shop food. Bland, cold, and very dry. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great either, so we ended up feeling that it simply wasn't worth the price AT ALL!.

Despite the restaurant letting the experience down, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily visit again. The resort, pools, spa, and jacuzzi made for a fantastic and relaxing getaway , we'd just recommend eating elsewhere if possible.

What an absolutely fantastic experience! Loved every minute of it. It’s quiet, everything is so well maintained, the staff is so friendly! The other guests are lovely. Can’t wait to return! Only negative, we should have stayed longer 😅 also just watch out for the potholes on the road there. But thank you for an incredible stay! See you soon

A beautiful resort. Nature at it's unspoilt best. Lovely hot spring pools to suit the whole family ( not suggested for children younger than 4 ). Resort is well maintained.
No tv or music....or parties. A blissful, relaxing stay and the restaurant is quite good and eell priced.
We'll definitely come again.

We come here annually for our family to rest, soak up nature and relax in the warm waters! We prefer midweek bookings. Friendly service at reception. We enjoyed Melkhout house! A little more private and private jacuzzi! Hiking trails are beautiful - bird life exquisite.
