An excellent camping stop if on a road trip as not far from the N7. We did not book in advance as we read there are 55 pitches, and the likelihood that it would be full the end of January would be slim and we were correct, though there were a number of other campers also travelling through. Maybe not the most prettiest of sites, it does have views of the surrounding area. The pitches are plentiful, spacious and level, with the majority having a sand/gravel stand, but a few do have grass, and there are small trees here and there. Each pitch has electricity, water, bin and braai stand. There is a pool to cool off in with shaded seating near by. The ablutions are clean and more than enough that you won't need to queue and no problem with hot water. There is a room for washing-up that also has laundry sinks, plus a communal fridge to use.
Springbok Caravan Park is a site that is more for a stop of a day or two to break up long drives travelling rather than a holiday.
There are also chalets available if not camping.
