Description
Immerse yourself in a vast and diverse natural world at Lake Eland Game Reserve. This magnificent 2500-hectare landscape is a rich tapestry of different ecosystems, from classic bushveld and open grassland to dense coastal forest and vital wetlands, all teeming with a wonderful variety of wild game. It is a true place of peace and tranquility, a destination that invites you to explore, discover, and reconnect with nature in a spectacular and unforgettable setting.

The reserve offers two wonderfully distinct and appealing camping experiences. For those who prioritize breathtaking, panoramic views and modern convenience, the main caravan and campsites are the perfect choice. Perched in an elevated position, these sites offer sweeping vistas over the entire reserve. They are conveniently close to the reception, a playground, and the main fishing dam, and are cleverly separated by wooden partitions to ensure your privacy without obstructing the magnificent view. Each of these well-equipped sites features a fixed braai with a grid and a reliable electricity point.

For the dedicated fishing enthusiast and the true nature lover, the exclusive "Camping at the Lake" sites offer a more rustic and immersive experience. These beautiful, off-grid campsites are spread out right on the water's edge, providing the ultimate spot for 24/7 fishing and swimming. Each of these sites has its own private braai and a convenient covered area, and they share a wonderful communal boma and ablution facilities. This is a true "back to your roots" experience, a chance to disconnect from the grid and reconnect with the simple, profound pleasures of the water.
