Description
Camp Nguni at Bushwillow Creek Ranch offers an exclusive and deeply immersive bushveld experience located just twelve kilometers outside of Hoedspruit. Situated on a working farm where antelope roam freely, this private campsite is designed for those who want to reconnect with nature in a serene, laid-back setting. The camp is nestled among a cluster of established trees and overlooks a large, active watering hole, providing guests with a front-row seat to passing wildlife and some of the most spectacular sunsets in the Lowveld.

The camping experience is defined by its privacy and "exclusive-use" model, meaning the entire site is booked for one group at a time. The stand is situated on level, bare ground beneath a natural canopy of shade, offering ample space for up to eight tents, including off-road caravans, trailers, and rooftop setups. In keeping with its off-grid philosophy, there is no electricity, encouraging a complete break from the digital world. Instead, the camp provides a rustic yet elegant atmosphere where lanterns illuminate the evening. To ensure a comfortable stay, the site features a covered kitchenette with a gas stove, a large dining table that seats eight, and a private splash pool that is perfect for cooling off during the warm Limpopo afternoons.

Facilities at Camp Nguni are practical and thoughtfully maintained, featuring a private rustic ablution block equipped with a hot water geyser, a flush toilet, and a washbasin. A central braai pit area, positioned under a beautiful false marula tree, serves as the social heart of the camp. Guests can spend their days exploring the farm’s network of dirt roads on foot or by bicycle, enjoying world-class birdwatching, or simply relaxing by the waterhole. With its proximity to the Kruger National Park’s Orpen Gate and various local wildlife centers, the ranch offers a grounded and authentic base for a true bushveld adventure.
